Baked Salmon with Lemon

Ingredients:

  • 2 salmon fillets
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 lemon (sliced)
  • 2 cloves garlic (minced)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like dill or parsley), optional

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Prepare the Baking Dish: Lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
  3. Season the Salmon: Place the salmon fillets in the dish. Drizzle with olive oil, and season with salt, pepper, and minced garlic.
  4. Add Lemon: Lay lemon slices on top of the salmon. You can also squeeze some lemon juice over the fillets for extra flavor.
  5. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.
  6. Garnish: If using, sprinkle fresh herbs over the top before serving.
